2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or engaging a Restu service arrangement, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement, and agree to these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.
3. Service Description
Restu provides home support coordination services in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. Services are offered to families arranging support for older adult relatives. The three core services are described on the Solutions page of our website.
Services are available within the Johor Bahru area. Geographic coverage for specific arrangements is confirmed before any service begins. Restu does not provide medical, nursing, or regulated professional services of any kind.
4. Service Scope and Delivery
Each service arrangement is agreed in writing before commencement. The written scope defines the type of service, frequency, communication format, and designated family contacts. Services are delivered according to the agreed scope.
Changes to scope require reasonable advance notice (typically 5–7 business days for changes to recurring arrangements). Restu will confirm any scope changes in writing before implementing them.
Restu does not commit to specific outcomes beyond the delivery of the agreed coordination activities. Results described in marketing materials reflect typical family experiences and are not contractual commitments.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when making an enquiry or establishing an arrangement
- Designate clearly which family members should receive updates and communications
- Inform Restu promptly of any changes to the older adult's household situation that may affect the service
- Use the website only for lawful purposes
You may not use the website to submit false enquiries, impersonate another person, or attempt to interfere with the website's operation.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design, layout, and materials — is the property of Restu unless otherwise noted. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction for commercial purposes requires our written permission.
7. Payment Terms
All fees are quoted and invoiced in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment terms are confirmed in the written service scope. Invoices are typically issued monthly for recurring arrangements or at the completion of one-time assessments.
Accepted payment methods include bank transfer. Restu does not accept cash payments for service fees.
Refund policy: One-time assessments are non-refundable once the assessment has commenced. Recurring arrangements may be cancelled with reasonable notice; fees for any completed period are due in full. Restu will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis where a service was not delivered as agreed.
8. Confidentiality
Restu treats all family and client information as confidential. Details about the older adult and family contacts will be shared only within the designated contact group and with service providers as required for delivery. We do not share personal information with outside parties except as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
9. Disclaimers
Our services are provided as general household and errand coordination. We do not provide medical, healthcare, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice. Nothing in our communications or service outputs should be construed as professional advice in any regulated field.
The website and services are provided "as available". While we aim for consistent, reliable delivery, we do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Restu's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or from service delivery shall not exceed the fees paid by the client for the service in question in the preceding three months.
Restu shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. We are also not liable for events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, infrastructure failures, or public health measures.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Restu harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or inaccurate information you have provided to us.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate a service arrangement with written notice as specified in the service scope (typically 14 days for recurring arrangements). Restu may suspend or terminate website access without notice where misuse is suspected.
On termination, any outstanding fees for services already delivered remain due. Clauses relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
